On the character sheet will be interactable elements that will return information when clicked on! In addition, a brief tutorial will begin that will guide the user through the basic D&D mechanics. Keep in mind that stat distributions will vary depending on the type of character you want to play. After the user has submitted the character creation form, a simple character sheet with random stats will be generated for you. Hopefully this application will streamline character creation by providing the user with digestible information. Character creation is often an overwhelming process for new players as there are so many customizable options due to the fantasy nature of D&D. It's easy enough to adjust in "SKILLS" section with the "Other Modifiers" but it would be nice if it actually filled in under Proficiency Bonus to properly account for the bonus and to avoid bonus confusion.Ģb. Bard's Jack of All Trades skill doesn't automatically account in the "SKILLS" section under the "Proficiency Bonus" category. I can still choose a cantrip and it copies over but it's not generating on the "Spellcasting" tab properlyĢa. When Bard is selected as class the "Cantrips Known" section does not display properly. D&D Beyond’s free character builder makes it quick and easy. There are a few issue's I've encountered(all Bard related as that's what I'm playing) and a few asks I'd like to request for a future version.ġ. Love this tool! Easy to generate a character and the layout made it quick and easy to find the info I needed during my first 5e game.
